Crawl or Die is a low-budget, independent sci-fi horror movie released in 2014. At times, the movie feels as though it is in danger of becoming repetitive. The group is chased, they find a temporary safe haven, they are chased again. However, the tension is maintained through effective pacing and excellent sound design. The sound of the creature's breathing, growling, and screeching is particularly effective.

The movie's climax is suitably intense and action-packed. It takes the story in a slightly different direction, adding a new layer to the plot. It's a welcome addition, as it prevents the movie from becoming too one-note.

Crawl or Die is not a perfect movie. The budget constraints are evident in the special effects, which are not always convincing. The script is also somewhat thin, with very little character development beyond the basics. However, the movie makes up for these flaws with its breakneck pace, intense atmosphere, and relentless tension. It's a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you feeling drained by the end.
