Deadtime Stories: Volume 2 is a horror anthology film released in 2011. It's composed of three segments, each with a different story and cast. The segments are titled "The Gorge," "On Sabbath Hill," and "Dust." The film is directed by Michael Fischa, Matt Walsh, and Jeffery M. Burkhart, respectively. George A. Romero, the famed director of the Night of the Living Dead series, is the host and narrator of the movie.

The first segment, "The Gorge," is about a group of friends who decide to go on a camping trip in the wilderness. They soon find themselves lost and stumble upon a desolate town where they meet an old man, played by George A. Romero. He tells them of a deep gorge where many people have died, and warns them to stay away from it. Of course, they venture to the gorge, and soon discover that it's home to a terrifying creature that preys on anyone who stumbles upon its lair.

The second segment, "On Sabbath Hill," takes place during the Salem Witch Trials, and follows a group of Puritan colonists who are accused of practicing witchcraft. The leader of the colonists, Deacon Thompson, played by Aric Amendolea, is quick to accuse and sentence anyone who he believes is guilty. However, things take a dark turn when his own wife is accused of witchcraft, and he must decide between saving her or staying true to his beliefs. This segment plays on the fear and paranoia of the Puritan era and is sure to send shivers down your spine.

The third and final segment, "Dust," is about a young woman named Ella, played by Kristen Barrega, who inherits her grandfather's house. She soon discovers an old trunk in the attic that contains a strange, dusty book. As she reads through the book, she discovers that it's a collection of spells and rituals that were used to communicate with the dead. Ella becomes increasingly obsessed with the book and decides to try out some of the spells. However, she soon realizes that there are consequences to her actions, and that the dead may not have her best interests at heart.

Despite being a low-budget horror movie, Deadtime Stories: Volume 2 is well-made and is sure to satisfy fans of the genre. The acting is decent throughout, but George A. Romero steals the show as the ominous host and narrator. The segments themselves are not connected to each other, but they all share a dark and eerie atmosphere that ties them together. Each segment also has its own unique style and approach to horror, making the movie feel fresh and exciting with each new story.

Overall, Deadtime Stories: Volume 2 is a great option for horror fans who are looking for a quick scare. The anthology format allows for a variety of chilling tales, and the talented cast and crew bring them to life in a way that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Whether you're a fan of creature features, period pieces, or spooky spells, this movie has something to offer for every type of horror lover.
