Death by China
- 1 hr 19 min
This informative, rather provocative documentary directed by Peter Navarro and narrated by Martin Sheen presents a nationalistic U. S. perspective on the Peoples Republic of China's entry into the World Trade Organization. The film makes extensive use of interviews with economic and labor experts to suggest that a severe imbalance in trade presently exists between the two nations. China's trade status allows it to benefit from a boost to its manufacturing capabilities and exports, while the USA has witnessed the loss of millions of jobs, including better paying manufacturing positions that once formed the staple of many blue collar incomes.
