This Dutch mystery sees 18 year old Valerie living with her mother in an isolated area of the the Netherlands. When her mother Trudy is hit by a car and killed Valerie is shocked to read in the autopsy that her mother did not bear a child. Valerie then sets out on an investigation into her past, which brings news of her real parents and the reason Trudy was killed.
