This is a story of a wealthy rich girl, who falls in love with a poor pauper. Anjali is a sophisticated, rich woman who falls in love with Dev, a poor man. Her family gets angry at the coupling and conspires to break them apart. They arrange for Anjali to marry a rich older man by the name of Ram. Furious, Anjali rejects Ram and pledges her love to Dev. Soon though, Anjali comes around to the idea of Ram and accepts him as her husband. But much to Ram's dismay, Dev comes back into their lives with money ready to marry Anjali.
