Dil Hi To Hai is a 1992 Indian romantic drama film directed by Asrani and starring Divya Bharti, Gulshan Grover, and Amjad Khan in lead roles. The movie is a remake of the 1951 classic, Awara, and follows the story of Ravi (Jackie Shroff), the son of a wealthy businessman who falls in love with Kajal (Divya Bharti), a poor girl. Ravi's father (Amjad Khan) disapproves of Kajal and tries to break up their relationship. In the meantime, Ravi's brother-in-law, Rajesh (Gulshan Grover), who is jealous of Ravi's success and fortune, tries to sabotage Ravi's business and ruin him financially. Ravi's sister, Anita (Ayesha Julka), is also in love with Rajesh and is caught in the middle of the conflict between the two brothers.

As the story unfolds, Kajal becomes pregnant and Ravi decides to marry her despite his father's objections. Ravi's father arranges for Kajal to be kidnapped and taken to a brothel, but Ravi rescues her and brings her back home. Ravi's father realizes his mistake and accepts Kajal as his daughter-in-law.

However, Rajesh continues to plot against Ravi and Kajal. He frames Ravi for a crime he did not commit, leading to Ravi's arrest and imprisonment. Kajal fights for Ravi's release and eventually succeeds in clearing his name. The movie ends with Ravi and Kajal being reunited and living happily ever after.

Dil Hi To Hai is a classic Bollywood love story with all the elements of drama, romance, and family conflicts. The movie is known for its iconic soundtrack, composed by Anand-Milind, which includes hit songs such as "Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se", "Saare Sapne Kahin Kho Gaye", and "Dil Hi To Hai".

Divya Bharti shines in her performance as Kajal, displaying a range of emotions from innocence and vulnerability to strength and determination. Jackie Shroff, as Ravi, delivers a convincing portrayal of a man torn between his love for his girlfriend and his loyalty to his family. Gulshan Grover, as the jealous and conniving Rajesh, plays his negative role with finesse and adds to the intensity of the film.

Overall, Dil Hi To Hai is a must-watch for fans of classic Bollywood cinema and anyone who enjoys a good love story with a happy ending. The movie is a testament to the enduring popularity of the romance genre in Indian cinema and remains a cult favorite among audiences to this day.
