This is a documentary movie about the relationship between man and dirt. It takes a close look at what dirt does for man, and what man does to dirt. It explores the environmental impact of man on the land. For the entire history of man, dirt has been giving food, shelter and resources. It has provided the vegetables eaten by both man and animals. It has provided grass to make thatch roofing and sod homes. It even harbors minerals for man to make into products.
