DNA Bloodline is a gripping horror-thriller movie release by Uncork'd Entertainment in 2020. The movie directed by Drew Cullingham is about a group of friends who embark on a camping trip but find themselves in a terrifying onslaught of events. The movie is set in the heart of the Irish countryside where the characters are introduced at the beginning of the movie.

The movie opens with a group of friends made up of Les (Rasheen Ali), Kate (Dianna Barker), and Darren (Winston Brightharp) embarking on a camping trip to the Irish wilderness. The friends are all excited to connect with nature and enjoy their time together. However, a spooky vibe is established early on when the group stumbles upon a dilapidated, seemingly abandoned building in the woods. Despite their intuition warning them against going inside, the friends venture in.

Upon investigation, they discover old medical equipment, a disturbingly authentic exorcism ritual (complete with candles and creepy religious paraphernalia), and even a collection of human bones. The friends quickly realize that they are not alone in the building and that something evil lurks within its walls. They find themselves being attacked by an unknown entity and things start getting out of control.

DNA Bloodline does an excellent job of leveraging suspense to build its narrative. The plot is well-thought-out and is full of twists and turns that keep the viewer engaged. The direction is excellent, and the editing is seamless. The camera-work employs a lot of hand-held, first-person shots, adding to the film's authenticity and making the viewer feel like they're right there, experiencing everything that the characters are experiencing.

The three leads, Les, Kate, and Darren, all do a fantastic job with their roles. Their performances are convincing and realistic, and you can feel the fear and desperation that their characters experience as the story progresses. Additionally, the chemistry between the three characters feels authentic, making their intimate moments and interactions all the more compelling.

One of the most interesting aspects of the film is how it touches on the consequences of genetic modification. The story of DNA Bloodline deals with the notion that our actions have consequences, and the price of messing with genetics could be catastrophic. In a broader sense, the movie also tackles the theme of how technology can be used to perpetrate evil.

However, for some, the plotline of DNA Bloodline may feel completely unrealistic. There are parts of the story which were ambiguous and left with no explanation, which may make it feel like plot holes. At times, it feels like the movie is stretching believability too far. For example, the ending has been criticized as being anticlimactic, and the revelation of the movie's underlying plot feels rather abrupt and underdeveloped.

Overall, DNA Bloodline is a decent horror-thriller movie. Despite its flaws, it tells an engaging and suspenseful story that keeps you hooked until the end. The direction is solid, the performances are authentic, and the score is impressive. So, if you're in the mood for a horror movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, give DNA Bloodline a try.

DNA Bloodline is a 2020 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 51 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.4.
