Don't Stare at the Summit. Stare at Your Boots. This lesson comes from an old mountain climbers metaphor that basically means if you continue to focus on the top of the mountain (the end of the journey), it only serve to slow you down, demoralize you, & weigh on your conscience...all those things are detrimental to your progress.
