Johnny "The Durango Kid" Shattuck has been away from home for years. He returns to find that his father, Wayne, is in danger of losing the family ranch. Dean Cannary, a former ranch hand at Shattuck ranch before being fired, has acquired a rival ranch and hired gunslingers to protect it.
