From bow and arrows to chariots, to the Roman phalanx, to modern day weapons, this program examines the beginnings of armaments from their conception to their uses in battle. In 1216 black powder was introduced and by 1326 it was being used in cannons. Muskets, flintlock guns, colt revolvers to lugers, and finally grenades and grenade launchers are studied - their evolution and usefulness.
