Eat Locals is a thrilling horror-comedy that was released in 2017. It is directed by Jason Flemyng, who also stars in the movie. The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Freema Agyeman, Adrian Bower, and Roman Clark. The movie starts with a group of vampires convening in a remote farmhouse in the English countryside. They are holding a council to discuss their future plans and to determine their fate in the modern world. However, their meeting is interrupted by a group of heavily armed individuals who have arrived with the intention of killing them all.

The leader of the humans is a stern government agent, played by Charlie Cox. He explains to the vampires that they are no longer able to feed on humans indiscriminately due to the increased surveillance and security measures in place. Instead, they must live off of bags of donated blood that are provided by the government. However, one of the vampires, a young man named Sebastian, played by Billy Cook, expresses his discontent with this arrangement and decides to leave the farmhouse in search of fresh prey.

While Sebastian is hunting, he encounters a village girl named Alice, played by Eve Myles. The two quickly form a bond, and Sebastian invites her to come back to the farmhouse with him to meet the other vampires. However, they soon realize that the humans are planning an all-out assault on the farmhouse, and they must band together with their fellow vampires to defend themselves.

As the movie progresses, we are introduced to a colorful cast of characters, both human and vampire. Each of them has their own unique personality, and we get to see how they interact with each other and navigate the challenges that come their way.

Freema Agyeman plays Vanessa, one of the vampires who is more cautious about their relationships with humans. She is skeptical of the idea of having Alice in the farmhouse, as she fears that their presence will jeopardize the safety of the group. Adrian Bower plays Larousse, the leader of the vampire council, who is more resigned to their current situation and willing to work with the human authorities. Finally, Roman Clark plays Henry, the youngest member of the group, who is more interested in playing video games than engaging in vampire politics.

The movie balances horror and comedy elements well, and there are some genuinely scary moments mixed in with some laugh-out-loud humor. The action scenes are thrilling and well choreographed, and the special effects are impressive for a low-budget movie.

Overall, Eat Locals is an entertaining movie that is sure to appeal to fans of horror-comedy. It has a strong cast, a solid script, and plenty of suspenseful moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Whether you're a fan of vampire movies or just looking for a fun romp with a unique twist, this movie is definitely worth checking out.
