El Ayudante is a drama. It's based on a tale by famed essayist and journalist Bernardo Kordon. This film showcases the relationship between a boss and his disabled employee. When a deaf mute hires on as an assistant for a tough foreman, a warm friendship develops. They learn from each others struggles. As a result, by the end of the movie, both evolve showing different sides of their personalities.
