Watch Elvis Meets Nixon
"Truth is funnier than fiction!"
This is a mockumentary about the time Elvis sneaked out of Graceland to take a plane trip ,alone, in December 1970. He ended up in California, at first. It would be the first time Elvis felt free since he was 21. Usually, the singer couldn't go anywhere without security guards. Once in California, he wrote a letter to President Nixon stating that he wanted to be a federal agent against drugs and narcotics. Elvis and his friend, Jerry Schilling, traveled to Washington DC, to meet President Nixon. Wanting to mend his relationship with kids, Nixon agrees to meet with Elvis.
