Evidence is a 2012 horror movie directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi that features a handful of promising young actors including names like Ryan McCoy, Brett Rosenberg, and Ashley Bracken. The movie essentially falls under the genre of found footage horror, with its storytelling revolving around a series of video clips that are used to recreate the incidents leading up to a massacre at an abandoned gas station in the middle of nowhere.

The movie starts with a group of friends heading out for a camping trip to the Joshua Tree National Park. The group is led by Ryan (played by Ryan McCoy), an enthusiastic and free-spirited young man who is determined to make the most of the trip. He's joined by his friends, including his ex-girlfriend Leann (played by Ashley Bracken), her current boyfriend Tyler (played by Brett Rosenberg), and a few other individuals who are there to enjoy the great outdoors and have a good time.

As the group gets closer to their destination, they make a pit stop at a gas station that appears to be abandoned. They're initially hesitant to stop there, given the eerie vibes that the place exudes, but they ultimately decide to proceed. However, things take a turn for the worse when they're locked in the gas station and left at the mercy of an unseen attacker who's prowling around the property.

From here on out, the movie primarily relies on found footage elements to create an atmosphere of fear and tension. The group's video recordings are interspersed with shots from security cameras, police footage, and recordings from video cameras recovered from various locations around the deserted gas station.

While the group initially believes that they're dealing with a crazed serial killer, it soon becomes clear that something far more sinister is at play. As they start to piece together the events of the night, they realize that there's a connection between the gas station and a series of unsolved murders that have occurred in the area over the years.

As the night wears on and the body count mounts up, the group has to pull together and work out a way to survive the ordeal. They struggle to fight off their attacker while also trying to dig deeper into the mystery of the gas station and the evil that lurks within.

One of the standout elements of Evidence is its use of found footage. The movie makes excellent use of this technique, weaving together a narrative that keeps the audience intrigued and engaged. The use of different camera angles and recordings from various sources helps to add depth to the story, and each new piece of evidence adds a new layer of intrigue.

In terms of performances, the actors do a solid job of portraying their characters. Ryan McCoy, for instance, delivers a performance that's both charming and engaging, making it easy for the audience to root for him. Ashley Bracken, on the other hand, brings a toughness to her role as Leann, which makes her a compelling character to watch. And Brett Rosenberg does an excellent job of playing Tyler, the boyfriend caught in the middle of tensions between Ryan and Leann.

Overall, Evidence is a riveting and suspenseful horror movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. While the found footage style may not be for everyone, it's expertly implemented here and adds an extra layer of intrigue to an already compelling story.

Evidence is a 2012 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 18 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.0.
