Fang is a horror movie that follows the story of a couple, Joe and Betsy, who embark on a road trip to visit Betsy's sister. However, their journey takes a frightening turn when they encounter a mysterious woman named Miranda who seems to be following them. As they continue to travel, they soon realize that Miranda is not who she appears to be, and they are caught up in a deadly game of cat and mouse with her.

The movie starts off with a creepy vibe, as Miranda is introduced walking along a deserted road in the middle of the night. Her unsettling demeanor sets the tone for the rest of the film, as viewers are left feeling uneasy about what she is capable of. We soon learn that she is a vampire, and she is on the hunt for her next victims.

As Joe and Betsy make their way to Betsy's sister's home, strange occurrences begin to happen. They notice that they are being followed by a car, and they start to feel like they are being watched. When they stop at a gas station, they meet a man named Dave who warns them about the dangers of the area. Dave is played by Gregory Blair, who does an excellent job of portraying a creepy, unkempt stranger who the couple doesn't know whether to trust or not.

Throughout the movie, we are given glimpses into Miranda's past and how she became a vampire. We learn that she was once a shy and introverted woman who was turned into a vampire by a man she thought she loved. Her transformation into a blood-thirsty creature is both fascinating and horrifying, and it adds depth to her character.

As Joe and Betsy's journey continues, they are forced to confront their fears and fight for their lives. The tension in the movie is palpable, and viewers are left on the edge of their seats as they wonder what will happen next. Melantha Blackthorne gives a standout performance as Miranda, perfectly capturing the essence of a vampire who is both alluring and terrifying.

One of the strengths of Fang is its pacing. The movie never lingers too long on one scene, and the story progresses at a steady pace. The filmmakers also do an excellent job of building tension slowly, and there are several moments where viewers will jump out of their seats.

Another highlight of the movie is its use of practical effects. The makeup and prosthetics used to transform Miranda into a vampire are truly impressive, and they add to the realism of the film. The movie also makes great use of lighting and shadows to create a spooky and atmospheric feel.

Fang is not without its flaws, however. The plot can feel a bit predictable at times, and some of the dialogue is a little bit clunky. There are also some pacing issues in the middle of the movie, where it starts to lose momentum before ramping up again towards the end.

Overall, though, Fang is a solid horror movie that will satisfy fans of the genre. It's a well-made film with great performances and some truly scary moments. It's not groundbreaking, but it's definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of vampire movies or horror in general.

Fang is a 2019 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 14 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.1.
