Three couples explore how important it is to tell the truth when falling in love. Bella is a café waitress who at 35 knows that she is stuck in a go nowhere job and a dead end affair with a married man. Paul is a widower who is afraid of facing old age alone. Bruno is an aspiring novelist and cab driver who has a penchant for bed hopping and an ex-wife who has decided to dump his kids onto him for the long term with no notice. Along with a stripper and an elderly friend of Paul’s, the two couples explore the deeper truths of falling in love and initiating a relationship in the modern world.
