This film is about a young woman named Edie that has run away from home to escape her past and meets Cal a gentleman that works at the local diner. Edie and Cal connect instantly and learn that they both have the same feelings, the need to break free from their pasts to make a fresh a start. Meanwhile, when Edie meets Jean an elderly woman diagnosed with Alzheimer's, who may be her grandmother, she moves in with Jean and they all begin this new era to live happy lives.
