Meanwhile, a group of criminals led by Mike Adams (played by John Eldredge) plan to rob a nearby bank and use the small airport to escape. The tension builds as the two storylines converge and the robbery takes place during a violent thunderstorm. The passengers and crew of the plane are forced to work together to survive and outsmart the criminals.

The characters are well-developed and each have their own motivations and secrets. Allan Curtis plays the pilot, Bob, who is torn between his sense of duty and his growing feelings for Angelina. Micheline Cheirel is captivating as the mysterious Angelina and her chemistry with Curtis is palpable.
