Frutas en el Café is a Cuban movie that focuses on three people whose lives and fates gradually become intertwined when they find an enigmatic painting. One of the three is a prostitute who is in debt to somebody unpleasant. Another is a radical Communist who reports his own wife to the police. The third is a female painter who gets with a rich foreigner.
