Each year, Swan Island attracts thousands of visitors when they open their gorgeous flower fields free of charge for the Dahlia Festival in late summer.
Next journey along as Dave finds tucked into a hilly neighborhood in the outskirts British Columbia’s capitol, an undiscovered gem based at the Horticultural Center of the Pacific. The Glendale Gardens and Woodland is comprised of beautiful demonstration gardens bursting with seasonal color plus a thriving reclaimed wetland and a forest alive with birds and wildlife. The garden acts as a living example of the rich opportunities to appreciate plants, grow food, and enjoy nature in the Pacific Northwest.
