Gujjubhai The Great is a 2015 Indian Gujarati-language comedy film directed by Ishaan Randeria and starring Siddharth Randeria, Jimit Trivedi, and Swati Shah. It revolves around the life of an affluent businessman, Arvind Divetia, who is well-respected by his colleagues and loved by his family. Michelle is studying in London, and her parents want her to marry a wealthy man. Arvind develops a liking towards Michelle and decides to impress her by presenting himself as a wealthy and successful businessman. Arvind's attempts to impress Michelle lead to a series of comical situations, with his lies backfiring on him. His sons and wife are also dragged into his web of lies, and they become entangled in the situation. To make matters worse, Arvind's business suffers a setback, and he is forced to take a loan from a local goon, Chako (Siddharth Randeria). However, Chako has a condition that Arvind must marry his daughter or pay back the money with immense interest. The film's narrative is peppered with hilarious situations, witty one-liners, and exemplary performances by the cast. Siddharth Randeria is exemplary as the wealthy and flamboyant businessman, and his comic timing is impeccable. Jimit Trivedi is equally impressive as Arvind's friend, Harish.
