H. G. Wells' The Shape of Things to Come is a 1970's science fiction film made in Canada and directed by George McCowan. Despite the title the film has almost nothing whatsoever to do with Well's book of the same name. The only primary similarities, aside from the title, are the names of a few of the characters. The plot of this adaptation takes place in the far flung future where a great robotic war has ravaged the earth to such a extent that mankind has fled to the Moon. However, the only thing keeping them alive is a rare and hard to produce drug called Raddic-Q2 and their supply is quickly running out...
