Joe is given thousands of dollars to bet on a horse by the gangster, Moran. The horse wins and Joe takes off with the loot. Joe's father is a policeman and the gangster informs him that no harm will befall Joe as long as he turns a blind eye to certain robberies committed on his beat. But Joe's brother is also a policeman and he decides to take action.
