High and Dizzy is a 1920 silent comedy film starring Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis, and Roy Brooks. In the film, Lloyd plays a doctor named Jekyll who is constantly juggling his professional duties with his desire for a little bit of excitement in his life. The film opens with Jekyll getting ready for work and struggling to finish his morning routine while his family members try to get his attention. Once he arrives at work, Jekyll finds himself dealing with an endless stream of patients, from a man with a toothache to a woman who is convinced she has a broken arm despite no evidence of injury.

Things take a turn for the worse when Jekyll's partner, Dr. Carew, is called away on an emergency and leaves Jekyll in charge of the office. While trying to treat a patient with a minor injury, Jekyll accidentally gives the man laughing gas instead of anesthesia, causing him to become woozy and unresponsive. Panicked, Jekyll sends the man home and then promptly passes out.

When Jekyll wakes up, he finds himself with a massive headache and a desire for adventure. He decides to ditch his doctor's coat and stethoscope and heads out into the city, where he finds himself in a number of precarious situations. Along the way, he meets a woman named Mildred (played by Davis) who becomes a central figure in his adventure.

One of the most memorable scenes in the film comes when Jekyll and Mildred find themselves at the top of a tall building. Jekyll is afraid of heights but tries his best to hide it, leading to a hilarious sequence where he tries to navigate across the roof while dodging chimney pipes and other obstacles. The scene is not only hilarious but also showcases Lloyd's incredible physical comedy skills, as he performs many of the stunts himself without the aid of modern safety equipment.

Throughout the film, Jekyll's adventures get increasingly wild and absurd, much to the delight of the audience. He finds himself running from the law, getting involved in a high-speed car chase, and even donning a disguise in order to sneak back into his own office.

Despite all of the chaos and danger he encounters, Jekyll somehow manages to retain his sense of humor and optimism. He even manages to save the day when one of his patients returns to the office with a serious injury, demonstrating that his medical skills are just as important as his ability to navigate chaotic situations.

Overall, High and Dizzy is a classic Harold Lloyd film that showcases his remarkable talent for physical comedy and his ability to make audiences laugh. With its memorable scenes, lovable characters, and fast-paced action, it's no wonder that the film remains a beloved classic more than 100 years after its initial release.

High and Dizzy is a 1920 comedy with a runtime of 27 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.8.
