Communities can be classified by their geography; there are forest, river, mountain, ocean, and valley communities. Examples of these communities are explored, from forestry in Northern California to wineries in the Napa Valley, from Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco to the Port of New York. The program illustrates how the history of these area and the jobs that people do there are directly related to the environment.
