Watch Idaya Kovil

Idaya Kovil is a 1985 Indian drama. It is about a young student, Radha, who is desperate to have a reclusive pop star, Shankar, perform at a student event. When Shankar does not respond to her attempts to contact him, she goes directly to his home where she is astonished to find him drunk. She helps him sober up and urges him to perform at her festival, and he does. Over time, a relationship develops between the two and Radah discovers her hero has a tragic past.
