Watch Incident at Johnson Farm

The National Park Service on the Peaks of Otter does a little playacting in their annual Civil War era themed exhibit, hosted by the 11th Va. Co. G out of Lynchburg, Virginia. The Johnson Farm is an old farmhouse on their property in which the old mountain ways of Virginians is kept alive through interpretation. In this video, several 'Yankee deserters' descend upon several not so helpless farm girls and try to harass them... There is also a tour of the blacksmith display they have set up, as well as other exhibits and talks they give during the weekend.
