Watch India: The North

India is a huge country filled with diverse people and places. The northernmost regions are positioned in a way that produces an extreme mix of cultural distinctions and turmoil. Some people are committed to cultural preservation. Others want aspects of modernity to take hold and erase differences. No matter what the people want, nature always finds a way to silence the masses.
