Watch Into Our Own Hands

Into Our Own Hands is a documentary by filmmaker Mariana Otero who films a group of workers at a lingerie factory. The factory is going bankrupt, and the employees who are mostly women are determined to take over the factory and form a collective to run and own it. The workers begin running into and trying to resolve a range of social and economic issues that make the reality of the situation all the clearer. The documentary follows their struggle to take over the factory and debate the many issues they face amongst themselves, all of whom have different viewpoints and backgrounds.
