An award winning documentary of the young children that were given up by their parents during WWII for safe passage to England. The young children were from Jewish families and among 10,000 that were rescued and taken into foster care by families within England. Expecting to reunite with their families at the end of the war many of the children never saw their parents again. The story is about the resilience of children in the face of complete defeat. These rarely heard, true stores are one of the last living memories of the holocaust.
