Joy in the Morning

A young couple runs off to get married. The guy is in college and comes from a fairly wealthy family. He has his whole world ahead of him. The girl comes from a lower class family from the wrong side of the tracks. She also has many problems of her own. Like the girl's background, she hooks up with the same kind of losers. The guy is a little embarrassed having her around him on the campus grounds. Things seem to get a little brighter as the girl becomes involved in an English class. Seems her negative energy becomes positive.
