Watch Jupiter Hammon

Saul, a young slave boy is inspired by Jupiter Hammon's story, whom was a friend of his grandfather's. Jupiter was the first published African American poet in America. Near the end of slavery in New York, Saul feels the tide of change. He is scared and worried by what he has to face. He finds comfort and inspiration in Jupiter's words and wants to raise himself about the stigma.
