Legendary Weapons of China

The late film director and fight choreographer Liu Chia Liang was a Hong Kong pioneer of kung fu cinema from the late 1960s to the 1980s. His intricately choreographed fights, which depicted exciting applications of classic Chinese martial arts, are still fan favorites 30 years later. Legendary Weapons of China is a tour de force showcase of the 18 weapons of traditional Hung Gar kung fu, which include: staff, spear, 3 section staff, saber, double edged sword, and others. Featuring his brothers, Liu Chia Yung, and film icon Gordon Liu Chia Hui (Kill Bill), the film is also a comedy that addresses the superstitions that fueled the Boxer Rebellion and changed Chinese history.
