Let's Go Mets is a 1986 documentary about the the New York Mets baseball club during the height of their success and popularity in the 1980s. The film examines the Mets craze at its greatest heights. The film also examines how the Mets had always been less popular than the other team from the same city, the New York Yankees, and how in recent years the Mets were able to challenge the Yankees in popularity by winning so many games. The film also takes a look at the making of the song "Let's Go Mets," the official theme song.
