John Lyshitski is a very bad career criminal. He has spent a great deal of his life in jail and he owes a big part of his jail time to one particular judge. When Lyshitski was part of a car theft gone bad, Judge Nelson Biederman III decided to make an example of Lyshitski and send him to jail for a long time. To get revenge on the ruthless judge, Lyshitski decides to drag the judge's son, Nelson Beiderman IV, along with him to jail by getting Biederman IV involved in a crime that would set the prodigy up in prison for a long time.

Once Lyshitski got Biederman IV into prison, he thought that he would have a long time to slowly extract his revenge. But Biederman IV proved to be extremely resourceful and everything that Lyshitski tried backfired on him. Over time, Lyshitski has to decide if he wants to continue pursuing the path of vengeance, or if he just wants to let the whole thing go. Unfortunately for Lyshitski, circumstances are brewing that will probably wind up making his decision for him and giving him an option he never wanted to choose.
