Like Someone in Love is about the story of a young woman named Akiki, who currently works as an escort so she can afford her tuition fees. One day, Akiko is orders to visit an elderly professor named Takashi. The two instantly bond in no time. However, the following day, Takashi decides to bring Akiko to his school, where she meets her new boyfriend, Noriaki.

Noriaki seems a bit jealous when he sees her with Takashi, assuming he is really her grandfather.

Takashi eventually begins to fall in love with Akiko as time goes on and he questions if he's in love or not.
