The origins of the Los Angeles Crips gang are explored when Raymond Lee Washington pulls a group together as a community watch patrol team. Originally formed to protect their block, this team begins to change into a more sinister and corrupt group. The team’s name, the Avenue Cribs, became the name now used, the Crips. In a few short years, the well-intentioned community watchers are enmeshed in the world of robbery and homicide.
