Los 3 Cielos means The 3 Heavens in Spanish. This is a 2007 film where the plot, and the story, are told from beyond the grave by a dead man named Claudio. This story is how Claudio wishes he was as a person and is told in three different stages, which represent the three heavens. The first stage of love is attraction, in which Claudio explains his initial desire for Doris, the woman of his interest. This is followed by the second stage of love, uncontrolled lust, ending in what pure heaven is to him, or the third heaven, pure, unadulterated, spiritual love. Doris represents to Claudio what he wasn't while alive: an outgoing, honest and free individual.
