Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is a 2012 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Sameer Sharma and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film stars Kunal Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Rajesh Sharma, and Vinod Nagpal in pivotal roles. The story revolves around a young Punjabi man named Omi Khurana (Kunal Kapoor), who left his hometown, the small village of Lalton, in Punjab, 10 years ago. Omi comes to London to escape from his family, his village, and a hefty debt he owes to a local gangster.

Now, 10 years later, Omi's debt has increased tenfold, and he is forced to return to his village to search for a hidden treasure that his grandfather, whom he calls Dadaji (Vinod Nagpal), supposedly left behind. Omi arrives at his family's old mansion only to find that it is now a disheveled restaurant, which his family ran into the ground.

In an effort to save his family's struggling restaurant, Omi decides to revive his grandfather's special recipe for Chicken Khurana, a local dish that was once famous throughout the village. However, the only person who knows the recipe is Omi's grandfather, who has been suffering from memory loss for years. Omi must now uncover the recipe from his grandfather's cloudy memory and make the Chicken Khurana dish to save the restaurant and pay off his debt.

Along the way, Omi rekindles his relationships with his estranged family and childhood love Harman (Huma Qureshi), who is now engaged to his cousin. As he spends time with them, he learns about the struggles they faced in his absence and realizes the true value of family and heritage.

The film is a heartwarming tale of family values, love, and redemption. It showcases the Punjabi culture and cuisine and is peppered with humor, romance, and drama. The film's tension-filled climax is a tribute to the power of family bonds and the value of tradition.

Kunal Kapoor delivers a standout performance as the charming but flawed Omi, who is forced to confront his past and his mistakes. Huma Qureshi is equally impressive as Harman, the strong and independent woman who brings balance to Omi's life. Vinod Nagpal's portrayal of Dadaji, the forgetful yet wise grandfather, is a delight to watch.

The film's soundtrack, composed by Amit Trivedi, is a mix of Punjabi folk and modern sounds, and it perfectly captures the essence of the film. The film's cinematography, by Mohana Krishna, beautifully captures the rural Punjab landscape and its vibrant culture.

Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is a must-see film for anyone who loves food, family, and a good feel-good movie. The film's relatable characters, engaging plot, and outstanding performances make it an enjoyable and memorable cinematic experience.
