Mad Women tells the story of an advertising executive named Margo (played by Christina Starbuck) who finds herself struggling to balance a high-pressure career with her personal life. Margo is married to Jack (played by Reed Birney), a successful architect who is often out of town for work. Meanwhile, their teenage son, Jack Jr. (played by Eli Percy), is struggling to cope with the recent death of his grandfather.

As Margo works on a major ad campaign for a new product, she becomes increasingly disillusioned with the world of advertising, which she feels is superficial and insincere. At the same time, she begins to have doubts about her own abilities and her role in the industry. Her boss, Bill (played by Kevin Breznahan), is unsympathetic to her concerns, and Margo finds herself increasingly isolated and alone.

As the pressure mounts, Margo's personal life begins to crumble. Her relationship with Jack is strained, and she struggles to connect with her son, who is acting out and getting into trouble at school. Margo's only source of comfort is her friendship with a fellow ad executive, Francine (played by Kelsey Lynn Stokes), but even this relationship is strained as Margo becomes increasingly erratic and unpredictable.

As the ad campaign nears its deadline, Margo finds herself at a breaking point. She begins to hallucinate and see strange visions, and struggles to distinguish between reality and fantasy. In a desperate attempt to salvage the campaign, she takes a bold risk that could either make or break her career.

Mad Women explores themes of ambition, identity, and the cost of success in a fast-paced, high-stakes industry. The film is a character study of a woman on the brink of collapse, struggling to maintain her sanity and her sense of self in a world that values image over substance. The performances from the three leads are raw and powerful, capturing the intensity and desperation of their characters. The movie is directed by Jeff Lipsky, who infuses the story with a dreamlike surrealism that adds to the sense of disorientation and madness. Overall, Mad Women is a haunting, provocative film that will stay with viewers long after the credits roll.

Mad Women is a 2015 drama with a runtime of 2 hours and 11 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.5 and a MetaScore of 30.
