When a 28-year old female astronomer is suddenly laid off from her job, she finds herself faced with a bunch of life decisions that she needs to make. One of the decision she is on the verge of making could have disastrous results. Prior to making this decision, she decides it would be prudent to seek advice from several of her relatives. Those who are put in position to give her the advice she needs include her father, grandfather, father-in-law, a nine-year-old neighbor and an assortment of people who may or may not actually be real. In fact, three of them are dead relatives.
