Kual has a daughter living in the United States. He is talking to her on September 11, 2001. Shortly after they get off the phone she is killed in the World Trade Center attack. Kual and his wife want to make sure their other daughter named Anupama lives a good life. She falls in love with a man trying to fight terrorism. The only problem is she is arranged to be married to someone else.
