Suhel Khan (Abraham) and Jai Kapoor (Warsi) are two Indian journalists working at Star News are sent to Afghanistan to make a report on how life is like in right after the US Invasion September of 2001. The two journalists are shocked at how the state of their country is super ruined because of the rule by Taliban Regime. They then take a tour at the country using a Taxi starting from Kabul. This then follows their escape from capturing the Taliban. On their way, they decide to stop at the village of the Ishtar right aside the Taxi Driver Khyber(Humghum) who was watching his country simply fall a part throughout the decades. They then stop at a tiny cafe and sell Kebabs where they find an American Muslim Journalist named Jessica (Linda). She is currently working for the ABC News at a report on the American side of this War at Afghanistan. Jai and Suhel then invite her to join them throughout their tour in the country. However, shortly after they leave Ishtar and are caught by the Taliban official Imran Khan (Shahid) who then hitched a ride right behind the Taxi to disguise as a Afghan woman. Imran then demands for them to listen to him for them to travel straight toward the Afghan border along with the Pakistanian and promises that they will be murdered. Imran is then trying to go over the border, leave the Pakistani troops and then negotiate with his fellow Taliban associates while he is in Pakistan. They then decide to arrive to the border simply where Imran bids for their farewell. While they're there, they stop to the village where he lived and Imran sees his long lost daughter and wife. However, just right before Imran can be able to reach anywhere he along with the rest of them have become attacked by the many Mujahideen.
