Watch Charlie Countryman

After a screening at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival under the title "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman," the movie "Charlie Countryman" was released in November of 2013 in the United States. Combining action, drama and romance, the movie follows the adventures of Charlie Countryman, played by Shia LaBeouf, as he travels to Romania and meets a woman named Gabi, played by actress Evan Rachel Wood. Charlie heads to Bucharest after receiving a vision from his deceased mother. On the transatlantic flight, Charlie meets Gabi's father who then asks Charlie to find his daughter, a beautiful Romanian cellist. Charlie promises to find Gabi and his journey begins. Charlie Countryman is a regular guy who finds himself in extraordinary situations as he falls in love with Gabi and seeks to protect her from her violent, criminal husband Nigel. Actor Mads Mikkelsen plays Nigel, a man who forces Charlie to use his wits to fight the Romanian underworld to save Gabi.
