Mama Shekinah is a story of brokenness, passion, tragedy and forgiveness. It is specifically a love story about two people. Colin, born in Bermuda, is feral. Hell deep in a life of drugs, jail, and sexual perversion, Colin returns to God, and attends Elell, an inner healing school in England. At Ellel, Colin meets Hedwig, from Paraguay, recently healed from a life hell deep in squeaky clean legalism, spiritual perfectionism, and anorexia. To their surprise they fall madly in love with each other, marry and travel all over East Africa teaching trauma and grief recovery. One year later, Colin and Hedwig are attacked near Yei, Sudan, by children from the Lord's Resistance Army. Colin is killed, and Hedwig, who is pregnant begins to lose their baby. Hedwig returns two years later to live with child soldiers in Uganda along with their healthy two year old daughter, Shekinah.

Mama Shekinah is a 2013 documentary with a runtime of 1 hour.
