Man From Shaolin

Li Bao Xin is a 32nd generation Chinese fighting Monk from Shaolin. He must immigrate to New York City to look after young his six-year-old niece, Janie. Struggling to make a new life, Li Bao finds himself facing challenges that test his character even more than his physical strength. Throughout all of this, his mind constantly returns to the heroic stories of the Shaolin Temple, a great tradition that which defines him, but also makes it much more difficult to assimilate into western culture more difficult. When he was in China he was a venerated master, in America he is now a nobody. To make a life for him and Janie, Li Bao must confront with a modern society, a place where his great fighting skills and heroic lineage don't have meaning. He will have to decide which is more important, his dreams or his family. He ends up making plans with a former student to open a traditional kung fu school. However, conflict arises between Li, and a brutal promoter and his skilled young fighter.
