Man of Flowers

Man of Flowers is a 1983 Australian film. The German director Werner Herzog makes a cameo appearance. The story is about a wealthy recluse named Charles Bremer. His passions include art, flowers, music and pretty women. He loves watching women undress. Best plays a young women who enjoys undressing in front of Bremer as he listens to operatic music. As the film progresses we learn that Bremer had a strange fixation on his mother. He enjoys reading letters that he sent to his mother, but they are actually addressed to him. This is an interesting psychological drama with a few surprises.
