Manam Kothi Paravai is a Tamil romantic comedy film released on February 17, 2012. The movie is directed by Thulladha Manamum Thullum-fame Ezhil and produced by N. Later, Kannan finds out that Revathy's father was once a well-known wrestler and decides to train him for a wrestling competition. Kannan trains Revathy's father, and he wins the competition, which brings Revathy and Kannan closer.

On Revathy's birthday, Kannan proposes to her in front of her family and friends, and she accepts his proposal. Meanwhile, Divya's father (Ponnambalam) finds out that Kannan has proposed to Revathy and decides to take revenge on Kannan's family by getting his daughter married to Kannan's younger brother (Vinodhini).
