Mexico Barbaro 2 is a horror anthology film that features eight different stories, each directed by a different Mexican filmmaker. The movie serves as a sequel to the 2014 film Mexico Barbaro and takes audiences on a journey through Mexico's creepy, supernatural side. The first story, "The Chosen," directed by Diego Cohen, revolves around a young girl who becomes possessed by a demonic entity after being forced to perform a ritual. The story is an eerie exploration of religious fervor and the lengths people will go to in order to obtain what they desire.

In "Tzompantli," directed by Ricardo Farías, a group of journalists investigating a mass grave stumble upon a sinister skull altar hidden deep in the woods. The story is a tense and terrifying tale of revenge and ancient Aztec lore.

Directed by Lex Ortega, "The Tenants" tells the story of a lonely old man who rents out a room in his house to a strange young man. As the old man becomes more and more convinced that his tenant is up to no good, the tension builds to a horrifying climax.

"Luciferina," directed by Gonzalo Calzada, follows a young nun who travels to a remote village to reconnect with her sister, who is involved in a strange cult. As the nun becomes increasingly drawn into the cult's disturbing rituals, she begins to question her own sanity.

In "Día de los Muertos," directed by Sergio Tello, a group of friends visit an abandoned cemetery on the Day of the Dead, only to discover that the dead may not be as inert as they seem. The story is a creepy and atmospheric exploration of the Mexican holiday and its significance.

"Muñecas," directed by Aaron Soto, focuses on a young girl who receives a haunted doll as a birthday present. As the girl becomes more and more attached to the doll, she begins to realize that it may have a malevolent agenda of its own.

Directed by Isaac E. Goiz Durán, "Siete Veces Siete" tells the story of a group of friends who inadvertently summon a vengeful spirit while playing with a Ouija board. The story is a classic supernatural thriller with a distinct Mexican flavor.

Finally, "La Leyenda de la Nahuala," directed by Ricardo Arnaiz, is an animated segment that tells the story of a young boy who must defeat a terrifying creature that is terrorizing his town. The story is a charming and heartwarming addition to the film, providing a nice counterbalance to the darker tales that came before.

Overall, Mexico Barbaro 2 is a gripping and chilling anthology that showcases some of Mexico's top horror talent. Whether you're a fan of supernatural thrills or just appreciate a good scare, this movie is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat.
